Hi! My name is Marjo and my pronouns are she/her. I'm a Senior Product Designer with a background in visual design, an MSc in interaction design and 10 years of experience making digital products. Outside of my day job I volunteer as a UX & UI Design teacher at ReDI School of Digital Integration.

• Product Design: End-to-end product design for native and web applications that enagage & retain. Design systems, prototyping, growth experimentation, user research. High UI craft & consistency in design across platforms.

• Domains: Regulated fields such as medical devices, growth funnels, B2B platforms, consumer applications.

• Communication: Presenting design and product solutions, driving buy-in, public speaking and education. In my free time I teach design at a non-profit tech school, and I am open to public speaking engagements.

• Strategy: I teach and train design thinking to help people and companies know what to build and when to invest in research.

about me in short

Currently leading design for growth at Oviva, the largest DiGA (insurance-covered digital health app) in Germany. My previous employers include Wolt, Clue, ResearchGate and Babbel. Before moving to Berlin I have lived in Helsinki, Malmö, Madrid, and Barcelona. I am really good at choosing avocados of the perfect ripeness in the supermarket.
